Chennai, July 7 :  The Karur District and Sessions Court has dismissed the anticipatory bail plea filed led by former AIADMK Minister M.R. Vijayabhaskar in connection with land grab cases.

The Karur police have registered cases against him following complaint from Sub-Registrar (in-charge) Mohd Abdhul Khader last month.

Police also conducted searches at his premises in Karur and were tracing about his whereabouts to arrest him in connection with the case.

The court also dismissed the pleas filed by Mr. Vijayabhaskar’s brother, Sekar, in this regard on Saturday. This was for the second time the ex-Minister’s bail plea was dismissed by thecourt.
