IAC will file a legal challenge about Anil Gaikwad’s nomination to MD of MSRDC.
PUNE, JULY 7 : The National president of India Against Corruption ( IAC) Hemant Patil today said that he will challenge to Mumbai High Court soon over the appointment of Anil Gaikwad as Managing Director of Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation ( MSRDC).
Mr Patil said that he has received the complaint from
Mumbai based social worker namely manoj Mishra and Raju Patil about the illegal appointment of a non- IAS officer to the head of Corporation.
He further said that Mishra and Patil have mentioned in their letter that Gaikwad who got retired earlier, was involved in numerous of controversy including Maharashtra Sadan scams Delhi.
Patil further said that the letter further stated that the inquiry of corruption against Gaikwad is still on in various case. if the appointment of Gaikwad has not revoked by government, IAC will challenge the Mumbai High Court soon over his appointment as MD, said Patil.
Patil also question that how government can appoint such persons at important areas who having belongs to bad reputation while appealing to present government in state to re-think about the appointment of Gaikwad as MD, otherwise, we will approach to judiciary in regards to his post.(UNI)
