TIRUPATI, MAY 9   :     The traditional temple cleansing ritual, Koil Alwar Tirumanjanam was observed in Sri Govindaraja Swamy temple here on Thursday morning in connection with annual brahmotsavams scheduled from May 21 to 29 with Ankurarpanam on May 20.

The aromatic Parimalam mixture is smeared all along the roofs, walls, of the main shrine, sub temples and puja utensils were cleaned.
This feast took place from 6.30 AM to 9.30 A and the devotees were allowed for darshan of Mulavirat from 10 AM onwards.
Chinna Jeeyar Swamy of Tirumala, Deputy Executive Officer BD Shanti, and other staff were also present.(UNI)
