Mumbai, Mar 2 :Maharashtra on Tuesday reported 7,863 fresh Covid-19 patients and 54 more deaths in the state, taking the tally of such cases to 21,69,330 and the toll to 52,238, respectively.
On the other hand, 6,332 patients were discharged during the day across the state, taking the overall count of recoveries to 20,36,790.
There are now 79,093 active cases in the state.
With this, the recovery rate in the state has gone down to 93.89 per cent and the death rate stood at 2.41 per cent, sources in Health Department said. (UNI)
