Vibrant Pushpayagam took place at Vontimitta Temple.
VONTIMITTA, APRIL 27 : The colourful floral bath rendered to the utsava deities of Sri Rama, Sita Lakshmana as a part of Pushpayagam went off gaitey and religious fervour at Sri Kodanda Ramalayam temple here on Friday evening.
Several kilos of varieties of traditional, ornamental flowers and various aromatic leaves were offered to the deities.
Pushpayagam is usually observed after completion of the annual Brahmotsavam as ”Pariharotsavam”, as a ”sin-free” ritual to the commissions and omissions performed either knowingly or unknowingly by the staff, religious staff and even devotees during Brahmotsavams.
Deputy Executive Officer Natesh Babu, Garden Deputy Director Srinivasulu and huge number of devotees were present. (UNI)
