In Delhi, the BRS party only represents Telangana’s interests: Kumar Vinod
KARIMNAGAR (TELANGANA), APR 20 : Boinapally Vinod Kumar, the Karimnagar Parliament BRS candidate and former Vice-chairman of Telangana State Planning Board, asserted that only the BRS party actively represents Telangana’s concerns in Delhi.
Addressing the media following the filing of his nomination on Saturday, Kumar emphasized that the BRS party played a pivotal role in achieving statehood for Telangana with five MPs. He criticized the BJP and Congress for allegedly sidelining other political entities.
Despite seven years since the establishment of new districts in Telangana, the Center has yet to provide Navodaya Vidyalayas to these districts, Kumar highlighted, reiterating that the BRS party stands alone in advocating for such state issues at the national level.
Furthermore, Kumar criticized the practice of offering Parliament tickets to individuals who have lost as MLAs, labeling Parliament as a “rehabilitation center.”
He urged voters to elect representatives committed to the state’s development, lamenting the stalling of progress under the Congress government. Kumar also accused Congress and BJP of attempting to suppress the BRS party.
The event saw the participation of BRS MLAs Gangula Kamalakar, Padi Kaushik Reddy, former MLA Rasmayi Balakishan, and others.(UNI)
