HYDERABAD, APRIL 14   :   Telangana joined the nation in paying homage to the chief architect of the Constitution and champion of the underprivileged, Dr B R Ambedkar, on his 133rd birth anniversary on Sunday.

Political leaders of various affiliations gathered to lay wreaths at statues of Dr Ambedkar in different parts of the state

On the bustling Tankbund road in the heart of Hyderabad, Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, accompanied by Secunderabad Parliament Congress candidate Danam Nagender, paid rich tributes by garlanding the statue of Ambedkar

Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka paid respects by laying a wreath at the portrait of Ambedkar at the Congress party office in Khammam.

Union Minister and Telangana BJP President G Kishan Reddy also laid floral tributes at the statue of Ambedkar at Tank Bund.

Functions were also organized at the party offices of various political parties, including the BRS, Congress, and BJP.
