Thane, Feb 28 : A man and his second wife from Wagle Estate of Thane city have been charged with torture of his nine year old son from his wife and maiming him the police said.
The SHO at the Wagle Estate police station said that the police have registered a case under sections 324,325,342,498A,494 rw 34 of the IPC and also section 75 of the Juvenile Justice Act the police said. No no arrest has been made so far in connection with the incident.
The police gave the names of the alleged accused as Imtiaz Idris Khan and Yasmin Imtiaz Khan both aged 33.
The complainant his first wife informed the police that the accused husband had without divorcing her married the other lady who was their neighbour.
For some time out of fear that they may be defamed the victim lived with the husband and second wife but they both abused and beat her and her children most of the times and gave step motherly treatment to her children.
She said in her complaint to the police that as her nine year old son had wetted his bed Yasmin beat him up blue and black and gave shots of burning candle on his penis and harmed it. She also beat up her daughter by pulling her hair the complaint stated.
As she could not not bear the torture any more she was presently living with her parents in law she said in the complaint.
The two accused also repeatedly abused her and and her children and kicked them with the shoes the complaint added. (UNI)
