HYDERABAD, MAR 15   :   Officials from the Enforcement Directorate (ED) carried out searches at the residence of BRS MLC K Kavitha, located in Banjara Hills, reportedly in connection with the Delhi Liquor scam.

According to sources, a team of eight ED officials, including two women, arrived at Kavitha’s residence and conducted searches. Access to the house was restricted during the operation, and all cell phones of the individuals present were seized. Kavitha and her husband, Anil, were present during the search.

Upon learning of the situation, BRS Legal Cell General Secretary Soma Bharat attempted to gain access to Kavitha’s residence but was denied entry by the ED officials. He was informed that he could meet Kavitha after the completion of the search operation.
