Oppn leader Fadnavis criticises MVA Govt
Mumbai, Feb 28 :Leader of Opposition in the Maharshtra Assembly, Devendra Fadnavis on Sunday accused the MVA government of preparing a strategy to ensure there is no debate on its performance during the Budget session of the state Legislature, which begins on Monday.
Addressing a press conference here on eve of 10-day budget session, he clarified that the BJP had boycotted the meeting of the Legislature’s Business Advisory Committee on Feb 25 since it was decided that there would be no debates and calling attention notices during the House proceedings.
Mr Fadnavis claimed that the Uddhav Thackeray-led MVA government is “directionless” and has failed on all fronts.
The budget session is normally held for six weeks, but in view of the current Covid-19 pandemic situation, it has been curtailed. (UNI)
