Puducherry, Feb 28 :An excise team led by deputy collector(Excise) Abhijit Vijay Choudry on Saturday seized 3583 packets (645 liters) of arrack from different arrack shops for selling it violating Puducherry Excise Rules.
According to an official release on Sunday, the arrack was brought to the Excise department and destroyed.
Excise flying squads will monitor arrack shops to find out where the excise rules are being followed, particularly during this election time. (UNI)
