PM Modi gives poor and Dalits rights, empowering them: Yogi

AGRA (UP), MAR 7   :     Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Thursday said the people have witnessed the emergence of a new India, an India where unity transcends caste, religion and language in the last one decade under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The CM was addressing a public meeting after laying the foundation stone and inaugurating 124 development projects worth about Rs 5,200 crore along with national president of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) JP Nadda.

He praised PM Modi’s efforts in uplifting the underprivileged citizens of the nation. “Today, we pay homage to Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar. Honouring Baba Saheb signifies respecting the marginalised communities and upholding the Constitution,” he said.

Highlighting the party’s commitment to societal welfare, Yogi said, “In the past decade, under PM Modi’s leadership, we have witnessed the emergence of a new India, an India where unity transcends caste, religion and language.”

He said, “It’s an India that aspires to integrate every village, poor person, farmer, youth and woman into the societal mainstream in order to empower them to lead dignified lives and forge ahead. It is not founded on caste, religion or language. The guiding principle behind this endeavour is ‘Sabka saath, Sabka Vikas’.”

The CM said, “Even those sections of society that were deprived of their rights since independence, are experiencing a sense of inclusion and development under the leadership of PM Modi today.”

He stressed that honouring Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar translates to upholding the values of the Constitution and the parliamentary system of India.

He credited PM Modi for amplifying the voices of millions of underprivileged individuals across the country.

Yogi also credited PM Modi with the significant naming of the international airport in Ayodhya after Maharishi Valmiki, the ‘trikaldarshi’ sage who had a dialogue with Lord Ram.

He also credited PM Modi with resolving the issue surrounding Seergovardhan in Kashi, revered as the holy land of Sant Ravidas after becoming the MP from the constituency, where a towering 25-feet statue of Sant Ravidas Maharaj has been inaugurated today, alongside the construction of a grand park and museum.

The CM praised Modi’s efforts in honouring the pioneers of social justice in the country and ensuring rights for the poor, Dalits and marginalized communities.

He highlighted achievements such as providing housing, sanitation facilities and improved healthcare for the underprivileged.

He said that UP, inspired by PM Modi, has doubled the scholarship amount for students from Scheduled Castes compared to 2016. He underscored the collaborative efforts of the ‘double engine government,’ citing examples such as the establishment of a university in Azamgarh named after Maharaja Suheldev, and the restoration of the Maharaja Bijli Pasi Qila in Lucknow.(UNI)
