KOLKATA, FEB 11   :    Ruling Trinamool Congress (4) and opposition BJP (1) on Sunday named their respective party candidates for the five Rajya Sabha post election to be held on February 27.

The TMC nominated its four candidates, including that of veteran journalist Sagarika Ghosh, Sushmita Dev, Mamata Bala Thakur and Nadimul Haque BJP’s spokesman for Bengal unit Samik Bhattacharya,has been named for the saffron brigade.
The Upper House of Parliament’s election is slated for February 27.(UNI)
