Sikkim, Tripura Govts alloted plots in Navi Mumbai
Thane, Feb 24 : The City and Industrial Development Corporation (CIDCO) has decided to allot one plot to the Tripura government and two plots to the Sikkim government in Sector 16 of Kharghar for construction of State Guest House or Emporium, in accordance with the request of both the governments.
“Like other states, CIDCO has provided plot number 18 to Tripura and plots no. 19 and 20 to Sikkim for their respective state guest houses so as to preserve their cultural ethnicity and represent them within Navi Mumbai,” Dr Sanjay Mukherjee, vice-chairman and managing director of CIDCO, said in an official release here on Wednesday.
The area of plot no 18 is 1970.36 square metres while the area of plot admeasuring nos 19 and 20 is 4000 sq mtr.
The allotment shall be done on lease hold basis as per the provisions of the Navi Mumbai Disposal of Lands (Amendment) Regulations, 2008, for tenure of 60 years with FSI (floor space index) of 1.
CIDCO has so far allotted plots to various states such as Assam, Gujarat, Manipur, Karnataka, Rajasthan, Punjab, Mizoram, Meghalaya, Nagaland, etc, as per a policy formulated in 1992, the release added. (UNI)
