BRS chief Sravan disputes CM Revanth Reddy’s claims on investments made in Davos

HYDERABAD, JAN 20   :     Dr Dasoju Sravan, a senior leader of the BRS, has questioned Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy’s claims of securing investments during the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos.

Accusing Revanth Reddy of potential ties with PM Modi, Sravan raised concerns about the legitimacy of the investment pledges.

Speaking to the media here on Saturday, Sravan criticized the Congress party’s contradictory stance on the Adani Group, noting that while Rahul Gandhi targets Adani in Delhi, Revanth Reddy welcomes the group in Telangana. He urged the Congress to clarify its position on Adani and questioned the credibility of the announced investments, including those from Adani, Godi India, JSW, and WebWerks.

Highlighting discrepancies in the financial standing of Godi India Private Limited, Sravan questioned how a company with minimal capital could invest Rs 8,000 crore. He called for transparency in the Congress government’s handling of such investments and demanded clarification on the Adani Group’s involvement in Telangana.

Sravan accused Revanth Reddy of falsehoods and arrogance, pointing out contradictions in his statements and actions. He questioned the Chief Minister’s friendship with Adani, whom Rahul Gandhi had previously criticized. Sravan emphasized the need for clarity from both Rahul Gandhi and Revanth Reddy on their positions regarding Adani and urged them to address the sequence of events leading to the announced investments.

Alleging that Revanth Reddy’s speeches in Davos damaged the state’s reputation, Sravan criticized the Chief Minister’s behavior on an international platform, describing it as politically motivated and lacking in substance. He accused Revanth Reddy of spreading lies and undermining the image of Telangana.(UNI)
