Kerala: Tomorrow, PM Modi will speak to more than 200,000 women in Thrissur
THRISSUR, JAN 2 : Prime Minister Narendra Modi will on Wednesday address a massive gathering of more than two lakh women at the sprawling Thekinkadu Maidan, which is viewed as the launching of BJP’s campaign for the Lok Sabha poll in Kerala.
Organised by the State unit of the BJP, the convention is to thank the Prime Minister for the passing
of the Women’s Reservation Bill in Parliament.
The convention is named as Sthree Shakti Modikkoppam (Empower Women with Modi), will be attended by more than two lakh women from different parts of the state, according to party leaders.
The Prime Minister who will be reaching Thrissur at 1500 hours will spend nearly two-and-half hours by holding roadshows and public meeting.(UNI)
