HYDERABAD, DEC 25   :    Telangana BJP State President and Union Minister G Kishan Reddy commemorated the birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee on Monday at the party’s state headquarters.

In his address, he highlighted that Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s birth anniversary is celebrated as Good Governance Day (Susasan Divas) under the auspices of the Central Government.

“He was a spotless politician, a man of high values, who governed with honesty,” stated Reddy, emphasizing Vajpayee’s significant contributions to Indian politics.

Recalling Vajpayee’s leadership during the crucial year of 1977, Reddy praised him for his honesty and the historic Kargil victory against Pakistan, along with India showcasing its nuclear capabilities through the Pokhran tests in Rajasthan.

Valmiki Ambedkar, noted for building millions of houses under the Awas Yojana for the poor, was also lauded by Reddy. He highlighted Vajpayee’s dedication to the Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir movement, culminating in the construction of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, a dream realized by the current Narendra Modi government.

Addressing a gathering at the Fever Hospital, Reddy described Atal Bihari Vajpayee as a provider of righteous, corruption-free, efficient, and exemplary governance.

“He gave exemplary governance, political life, ethics, honesty, and effective leadership,” Reddy said. He commended the infrastructure developments, such as roads in villages under the Pradhan Mantri Sadak Yojana, and the various welfare programs initiated during Vajpayee’s rule.

Reddy urged the present generation to be inspired by Vajpayee’s flawless leadership and values, noting that the Narendra Modi government continues to undertake numerous welfare programs inspired by the vision of Atal Bihari Vajpayee.(UNI)
