Trained nursery teachers hold demonstration in Hamirpur
Hamirpur (HP), Feb 20 : Trained nursery teachers held a demonstration and raised slogans in support of their demands at the Gandhi chowk on Saturday.
They were demanding their postings in the primary schools as per the policy of the state government. They demanded that only trained nursery teachers with special certificates in their hands should be given appointments rather than giving employment to those who were close to the ruling politicians and officers.
Tilak Raj Sharma, the district President of the Bharatiya Mazdoor sangh was also in the rally and urged the state government to accept the demands of the nursery teachers and also give jobs to the families of the ex-servicemen as suggested by the striking teachers.
The nursery teachers also handed over a memorandum to the government through ADM, Hamirpur enlisting their demands. (UNI)
