HYDERABAD, OCT 13 : P Muralidhar Rao, the BJP Madhya Pradesh (MP) State Incharge, expressed profound concern over the ongoing Israeli-Palestinian conflict, particularly condemning the brutal attacks perpetrated by Hamas gunmen.

Speaking at a press conference held at the state headquarters of the party on Friday, Rao conveyed his deep shock at the ferocity of Hamas’s assaults on Israel. These attacks, motivated solely by religious differences, have reverberated across the global community, leaving a profound impact.

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has unequivocally reaffirmed India’s stance, vehemently condemning these terrorist attacks. India, a nation that has endured the scourge of terrorism and remains committed to its fight against this menace, stands resolutely alongside Israel during these tumultuous times, offering unwavering support to maintain global peace.

Rao underscored that Telangana is a region that has experienced its share of conflicts and is susceptible to terror-related incidents. He expressed his disappointment that the BRS party did not respond to this tragedy, despite the region being impacted by terrorist attacks. Rao emphasized the critical role of governments in clearly articulating their position on terrorism, with the BRS party’s intentions appearing to indicate a reluctance to actively participate in the fight against terrorism.

He also shed light on the significance of vote bank politics for the BRS and Congress. Congress attempting to divert public attention while condemning Hamas attacks. Rao voiced his concern about the consistency in the approach of Congress and BRS to the issue of terrorism, which he believes poses a threat to national security. He emphasized that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) prioritizes the welfare of the nation and human rights.

In the context of the upcoming elections in Telangana, Rao accused Congress and BRS of resorting to money-based politics. He urged the Election Commission to focus on monitoring such financial activities.

Additionally, Rao alleged that Congress is prepared to spend vast sums on the forthcoming Telangana elections, that could adversely impact the electoral process with money-driven politics. Under BJP leadership, a comprehensive charge sheet will be prepared, outlining BRS’s promises and failures.

Rao contended that the BRS party had deceived the unemployed population and failed to fulfill its commitments related to the development of Hyderabad and the construction of double-bedroom houses. The BJP is committed to unveiling the shortcomings of the BRS party.

Rao emphasized that the BJP has a history of confronting various forms of extremism and Maoist threats. He stressed that the BJP’s fight is against terrorism as a whole, not against any particular religious or ethnic group. He urged India to play a leading role in eradicating terrorism on the global stage.
