HYDERABAD, OCT 9 :Election Commission of India (ECI) on Monday announced that the voting for the Assembly election in Telangana will be held on November 30.

Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Rajiv Kumar at a press conference in New Delhi said the counting of votes will take place on December 3.

He said the date of issue of Gazette Notification will be on November 3

The last date for filing nominations is November 10, and the date for scrutiny of nominations is November 13, Mr Kumar said.

The last date for the withdrawal of candidatures is November 15.

The entire election process would be completed by December 5, the CEC added.

The ruling Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) had already announced the candidates for 115 out of the 119 assembly constituencies in the state.

Opposition parties, BJP and Congress, have not yet announced their candidates for the election.(UNI)
