Amit Shah to grace Adilabad Jana Garjana Sabha on Oct 10

HYDERABAD, OCT 8 :Telangana BJP State General Secretary, Gujjua Premender Reddy, announced that Union Home Minister Amit Shah will be the chief guest at the Adilabad Jana Garjana Sabha, scheduled to take place in Adilabad district on October 10.

Addressing the media at the state party headquarters here on Sunday, Reddy commented on the Congress’s response to the development programs initiated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Telangana.

He noted that the Congress appeared to be struggling to compete with the development initiatives announced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, resulting in the burning of effigies of the Prime Minister.

Reddy raised a series of questions directed at the Congress party:

He inquired whether the Congress could match the Telangana government’s expenditure of Rs 9 lakh crores on development over the past nine years.

Reddy asked if the Congress recognized the significance of the National Turmeric Board’s announcement for Telangana, fulfilling the long-standing aspirations of turmeric farmers.

He questioned whether the Congress acknowledged the legislation that provided 33 percent reservation for women in the legislature.

Reddy emphasized the formation of a tribunal to address the issue of Krishna water sharing between Andhra Pradesh and Telangana and wondered if the Congress remembered that Chief Minister KCR signed an agreement for only 298 TMC in this regard.

He highlighted the establishment of a tribal university in Telangana and the allocation of funds for constructing national highways and railway projects worth Rs. 30,000 crores.

Reddy mentioned the provision of 5 kg of ration to eligible individuals every month and suggested that the burning of Narendra Modi’s effigy might be a result of his government’s achievements that Congress could not replicate due to incompetence.

He alleged that the Congress funded 30 candidates affiliated with BRS (Bharat Rashtra Samithi’s fund-raising body) and claimed that decisions about Congress candidates were being made in Pragati Bhavan.

Reddy pointed out that some MLAs who won from the Congress party in the last election had joined BRS and suggested that this trend would continue in the upcoming elections.

He accused the Congress of attempting to deflect attention from its failures by criticizing Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Reddy warned the Congress to be transparent about any secret agreements with BRS and apologized to the public if necessary.

He asserted the importance of the Bharatiya Janata Party’s victory regardless of any tactics or conspiracies against it.(UNI)
