Mumbai, June 22 :The BSE Sensex on Thursday fell 50 pts at 63,472.99 in opening trade on profit booking by local dealers at higher level.The Nifty too eased marginally by 3 pts at 18,853.65.The Sensex registered intra-day high and low at 63,601.71 and 63,372.97 pts respectively.
The Nifty recorded intra-day high and low at 18,882.65 and 18,830.90 respectively.The Mid Cap declined by 0.11 pc while the small Cap rose by 0.16 pc respectively.In 30 scrips, 12 advanced, 16 declined and 2 remained unchanged.The losers were Bajaj Finance by 1.23 pc to Rs 7114.85, Powergrid by 1.18 pc to Rs 255.05, NTPC by 0.91 pc to Rs 185, Wipro by 0.77 pc to Rs 382.60 and HCL Technology by 0.73 pc to Rs 1161.65.The gainers were Tata Steel by 1.54 pc to Rs 112, M& M by 0.91 pc to Rs 1386.45, ITC by 0.89 pc to Rs 932.95 and HDFC Bank by 0.44 pc to Rs 1643.(UNI)
