Chennai, May 16 :The Tamil Nadu government tonight
transferred the probe into the twin liquor tragedies in the
State, that has so far claimed 21 lives, to the CB-CID.
The transfer of the probe comes in the wake of Chief Minister
M.K.Stalin’s announcement to this effect after he visited those
getting treatment at the hospitals and reviewing the situation.
In line with the Chief Minister’s order, the probe was shifted to
the CB-CID, an official release tonight said.
The CB-CID will probe both the tragedies, it siad.(UNI)
