Hyderabad, Apr 22 : The Rajanna Sircilla District Medical College has been granted permission to admit students from this academic year.
The Sircilla Constituency Legislator, K Taraka Rama Rao (KTR), and the Rajanna Sircilla District Minister expressed their gratitude to Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR) for allocating a medical college to their district.
In a statement here on Saturday, KTR said, the Chief Minister had ordered the expansion of the existing district hospital by 300 beds for the medical college. The National Medical Commission for Medical Assessment and Rating Board (MARB) recently granted permission for admissions in the Sircilla Medical College.
The medical college, which will be under Kaloji Narayana Rao Health University, will admit 100 students for the MBBS course. The National Medical Commission has issued a certificate of permission to the Rajanna Sircilla District Medical College.(UNI)
