Hyderabad, Apr 25 : Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M), the leader in the commercial vehicles segment in India, launched its All-New Bolero MaXX Pik-Up range here on Tuesday.
Lighter, more compact and versatile, the New Bolero MaXX Pik-Up range is the outcome of over three years of innovative work by a dedicated team of engineers at Mahindra Research Valley.
It will offer two series of products ( HD series and City series) of differing cargo lengths and payload capacities ranging from 1.3t to 2t and also offering the choice of diesel and CNG, said Mr Arunangshu Roy, Zonal Head (South), Mahindra and Mahindra, on the occasion.
The current capacity per month in the pik-up segment across all plants together was 79,500 units and these new commercial vehicles produced from the existing multi plants across India including from Zaheerabad facility in Telangana, he informed.
Our current market share in the pik-up segment ( 2 to 3.5 ton) was 60 per cent and with this new vehicle launch, it is expected to go further, Roy said.
He said starting at a price of Rs. 7.85 Lakh and up to Rs 10.33 lakh (ex-showroom) , the All-New Bolero MaXX Pik-Up range has been engineered to offer powerful features and performance delivering an unprecedented value proposition to customers and operators.
Mahindra has sold more than two million Pik-Up units since the brand was first launched, the Zonal Head said the All-New Bolero MaXX Pik-Up range promises to be a game changer as it will offers state-of-the-art features, unmatched power, maximum payload capacities and higher mileage, promising that each journey is productive and fatigue-free for drivers.
We have significantly upgraded the m2Di engine for this application, by increasing torque and power to cater to payloads of up to 2t, while also offering impressive fuel efficiency, Mr Roy said we have integrated car-like iMAXX connectivity technology, which is a first in segment.
All these winning features combine to make the All-New Bolero MaXX Pik-Up range deliver increased productivity and earning potential while enhancing the driving experience for our customers.”
