Rewa (MP), Apr 24 : Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived here on Monday to grace the National Panchayati Raj Day celebrations and address gram sabhas in addition to Panchayati Raj institutions across the country.
During the event, the Prime Minister shall inaugurate an integrated eGramSwaraj and GeM portal for public procurement at Panchayat level, unveil a campaign named ‘Vikas ki Or Sajhe Kadam’ whose theme is inclusive development, symbolically hand over approximately 35 lakh SVAMITVA Property cards, participate in a programme marking the ‘Griha Pravesh’ of more than four lakh beneficiaries under the Pradhan Mantri Awaas Yojana-Gramin, dedicate to the nation and lay the foundation stone for various railway projects worth around Rs 2,300 crore and lay the foundation stone for ventures worth about Rs 7,000 cr under the Jal Jeevan Mission.(UNI)
