Dharamshala, Apr 23 : Himachal Pradesh has reported 42 new Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours, health official said here on Sunday.
Spokeman of the Health Department told UNI that all the 42 fresh cases who have tested positive today have been isolated as per the protocol.
The spokesman said that today there was no Covid death reported from any district of this hill state thus the death toll has remained to 4216.
He said that the number of active cases has further come down to 1495. He said that the number of Active cases included
216 from Mandi, 123 from Shimla, 374 from Kàngra, 170 from Hamirpur, 151 from Bilaspur and 78 from Kullu, 90 from Solan, 90 from Chamba and 94 from Sirmour districts of this hill state.
The sources told UNI that there were 266 recoveries today in the state, thus keeping the number of the recovered patients at 314659 today.
He said that there were 433 samples collected today for testing and results of 3 samples were awaited. .
He said that on Sunday 12 Covid 19 patients were admitted in a hospital in this hill state however the number of the active admissions has remained 26 and 5 Covid 19 patients were discharged after getting cured from hospitals of the state today.(UNI)
