PANAJI, NOV 29 : At the 53rd International Film Festival of India (IFFIbig )’s closing event, stunning actress Manushi Chhillar, who captivated hearts with her outstanding performance in “Samrat Prithviraj” opposite Akshay Kumar, was honoured for her outstanding performance in her debut movie.

Anurag Thakur, the Union Minister of Information and Broadcasting, and Pramod Sawant, the Chief Minister of Goa, among other prominent industry figures like Asha Parekh, Shekhar Kapur, Akshay Kumar, Ayushmann Khurrana, Rana Daggubati, and Esha Gupta, attended the ceremony to honour the actress.

Manushi, who was overwhelmed by the honour, exclaimed, “I’m honoured and overjoyed to receive praise for my Samrat Prithviraj debut at the 53rd IFFI ceremony. Being recognised for my first film in front of such prominent individuals in my first year in the movies is encouraging. It was a rewarding experience to work on Samrat Prithviraj alongside Dr. Chandraprakash Dwivedi and Akshay Kumar. They gave me a chance, and I’m grateful to them and Aditya Chopra for that.”

Manushi will next be seen on the job in “Tehran,” starring John Abraham.(PHN)
