TEHRAN, NOV 29 :  Amir Ali Hajizadeh, the commander of the Aerospace Force of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), said on Tuesday that at least 300 people had died in recent turmoil in Iran as a result of large protests brought on by the murder of Mahsa Amini, 22, who passed away while in police custody.

According to the Mehr news agency, “More than 300 individuals died in recent riots because we were unable to discriminate between enemies and those who stood on our side.”(PHN)
