Mumbai, July 12 : The India Meteorological Department (IMD) issued Orange alert for Mumbai for the next three days till Thursday.
Heavy rain has been lashing the metropolis since Tuesday morning throwing life out of gear.
Due to the heavy downpour, there was a traffic jam from Sahar Airport to Andheri Kurla road while the traffic was slow at Mankhurd Railway bridge due to waterlogging.
As tree was fallen near petrol pump at Dockyard Road station, south bound traffic was stopped and diverted to North bound, Brihan Mumbai Corporation (BMC) sources said.(UNI)
