Four of a family electrocuted in Telangana
Kamareddy, July 12: Four people belonging to a family got electrocuted at Beedi Colony, here on Tuesday.
According to police, the deceased were identified as Hymed (35), his wife Parvin (30), and their two sons – Mahim (6) and Adnas (4). The children got an electric shock when they touched the live electric wire. In order to save the children, the parents also got an electric shock and four of them died on the spot.
Police who reached the spot after getting information registered a case and sent the bodies to the Area Hospital here for post-mortem.
Further investigation was on, police added.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, Minister Vemula Prasanth Reddy, and MLA Gampa Goverhan expressed their condolences to the bereaved family members.
Minister Prasanth Reddy said the Chief Minister has announced financial assistance of Rs three lakh each to the kin of the deceased. (UNI)
