Bhopal, July 11 (UNI) The novel coronavirus situation continues to aggravate in Madhya Pradesh where a fresh fatality was reported on Monday from Indore thus taking the state’s contagion-related cumulative toll to 10,746.
A Health Services Directorate bulletin issued tonight said that 131 new sufferers were detected on analysis of 6,824 samples over the past 24 hours even as 99 individuals recuperated during the period under review. Indore district continued to have the dubious distinction of spawning the highest 70 latest patients, Bhopal 15, Jabalpur 12, etc. The active cases number 838 and the positivity is 1.9 per cent. The infected tally touched 10,45,663 but that figure includes 10,34,079 recoveries.(UNI)
