Hyderabad, May 20 : Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao has decided to increase the upper age limit for the recruitment of posts in the State Police department by two more years. The Chief Minister has responded positively to the request of TRS MLC Palla Rajeshwar Reddy to enhance the age limit following the implementation of 95 per cent job quota for locals for the first time and the impact of Corona pandemic during the past two years. The Chief Minister instructed the Chief Secretary and the State DGP to initiate measures in this direction immediately, an official release from the Chief Minister’s Office here said on Friday.(UNI)
