Hyderabad, Feb 19 :Five people were killed when the car in which they were travelling collided with Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) bus in Mulugu district on Saturday. Police said the accident occurred when the bus was enroute to Medaram Jathara in Mulugu district. The car and the bus collided near “Gattamma” temple, the entry point to the Medaram Jatara, the country’s largest tribal congregation . Four people died on the spot and another, who was seriously injured, died on the way to the hospital. The car was completely damaged while the front portion of the bus was partially damaged. The accident caused traffic jam on the road leading to the Jatara and the police swung into action and cleared the traffic after shifting the damaged car from the road. (UNI)
