Opposition wants to save their looted wealth: Imran
Islamabad, Feb 18 : Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan Today launched a scathing attack against the opposition’s move to move a no-confidence motion against the government in so much haste, Dawn reported. Khan said that this move by the opposition was an effort to save its looted wealth. Khan said this while addressing a public meeting of PTI supporters in Mandi Bahauddin. The focus of his attacks was the Sharif family and mentioned that PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif was himself currently facing a money laundering reference. Khan went on to claim that when the opposition had filed a case against him in the Supreme Court, he did not flee the country on any pretext and had stayed in the country and had proved that he was sadiq and ameen (honest and righteous). Taking pot shots at PML-N Vice President Maryam Nawaz, Khan said that she was also “scared” due to the Chaudhry Sugar Mills case and was trying to “scare the judges”, accusing them of wanting to move the no-trust move so that his government can be ousted and they can get off scot-free like they did during Gen Musharraf’s tenure. He exuded confidence that the opposition would once again fail in their endevour, and would end up in jail this time round. (UNI)
