Aurangabad / Mumbai, Feb 1 : Maharashtra Today  reported 14,372 new Covid-19 patients and 94 fatalities in a single day, taking the state’s cumulative case tally to 77,35,481 and the toll to 1,42,705, respectively, a health bulletin of the state government said. However, with no single fresh case of new Omicron variant being spotted in the state today, the count of this cases remain unchanged at 3,221. On the other hand, 30,093 patients were discharged during the day across the state, taking overall count of recoveries to 73,97,352. The state’s recovery rate improved to 95.63 per cent while the fatality rate slipped to 1.84 per cent. There are now 1,91,524 active cases in the state, added the bulletin.
