Kerala based Social Activist and Humanitarianist gets Martin Luther King Jr Day Outstanding Community Services Award
New Delhi: 22nd January ( Press Note) Commemoration Of “Martin Luther King Jr Day Dr. Johnson V Edicula honored for his Loyal Service to the Community ” Martin Luther King Jr Day Outstanding Community Services Award. The award was announced at a ceremony on the virtual platform by ‘Farah Delance Foundation’.The Presidential Award was also announced for five US citizens.
Dr. Johnson V. Edicula, is the Ambassador of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, the President of the National Forum for Social Justice , Minorities Cell , the Jury of the URF World Records and President of ‘Sauhrdtha Vedhi’.
He has been honored early with Youth Awards from the Government of India and Government of Kerala And the recipient of the Fellowship in Humanitarian Leadership from Erada International Academy, Palestine and Global Peace Award by the Mother Teresa Global Peace Foundation based in Argentina and Rajiv Gandhi Excellence Award by Global Indian Association, New Delhi.
He has been a pioneer in various national and international activities through various voluntary organizations for the last 25 years. The award recognizes Dr. Johnson V. Edicula’s outstanding contribution to philanthropy, community, Social, human rights, and peace activities. He is also the recipient of the Seven Records in Charity Services including Record Holders’ Republic, United Kingdom.
He is survived by his wife, Gigi, Nursing Director at the Al-Khurma Hospital, Ministry of Health, KSA, and children, Ben and Daniel.
