Amaravati, Jan 14 :Heavy rain is likely to occur at isolated places in North Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam during the next 24 hours, Meteorological Centre said Today.
In a bulletin here, it said that thunderstorm accompanied with lightning is likely to occur at isolated places in North Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam and South Coastal Andhra Pradesh during the next three days.
The same situation is likely to prevail in Rayalaseema during the next 24 hours.
Light to moderate rain or thundershowers is likely to occur at many places or at few places or at one or two places in North Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam, South Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema during the next five days, the bulletin said.
Heavy to very heavy rainfall occurred at one or two places in Vizianagaram district of North Coastal Andhra Pradesh during the last 24 hours.
Rain occurred at most places in Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam (Puducherry) and at one or two places in Rayalaseema during the same period.
The lowest minimum temperature of 16.6 degree Celsius was recorded at Anantapur on the intervening night of Thursday and today, the bulletin added.(UNI)
