Ashoka Buildcon lowest bidder for Belgaum-Sankeshwar bypass project

Mumbai, Jan 14 : Leading highway developer Ashoka Buildcon Today  said it has emerged as the lowest bidder for the six laning from Belgaum to Sankeshwar bypass project of the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI), in Karnataka.

The company has emerged as the lowest bidder and the quoted bid price of the project at Rs 829.49 crore, it said in a regulatory filing.

“Ashoka Buildcon had submitted the bid to the National Highways Authority of India in respect of the request for proposal for construction of six laning from Belgaum to Sankeshwar bypass from km 515+000 to km 555+017 of NH-48 in the state of Karnataka on engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) mode under Bharatmala Pariyojana (Package-I),” the company said.

Ashoka Buildcon is an integrated EPC, BOT & HAM player, having a portfolio of 41 PPP projects. Besides construction of highways and bridges, the company is also engaged in construction of buildings (EPC), power, railways and city gas distribution.(UNI)
