Cyclonic circulation over SW Bay of Bengal & neighbourhood persists: Met

Amaravati, Jan 10 : The cyclonic circulation over Southwest Bay of Bengal & neighbourhood persists and now extends upto 5.8 km above mean sea level, Meteorological Centre here said Today.
In a bulletin, it said that heavy rainfall is likely to occur at isolated places in North Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam on January 13.
Thunderstorms accompanied with lightning are likely to occur at isolated places in North Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam, South Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema on January 12, 13 and 14.
Light to moderate rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at many places or at few places or at one or two places in North Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam, South Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema during the same period.
Dry weather prevailed in North Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam, South Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema during the last 24 hours, the bulletin said.
The lowest minimum temperature of 17.4 degree Celsius was recorded at Kalingapatnam of Coastal Andhra Pradesh on the intervening night of Sunday and Monday, the bulletin added.(UNI)
