Chennai, Jan 8 :The Tamil Nadu government, which has announced

complete lockdown tomorrow, said that those attending marriage functions

would be allowed to travel by showing the wedding invitations.

An official release here today said, police would give necessary permission

for those attending marriage functions, subject to a maximum of 100 people,

during lockdown days.

In view of the rising COVID cases and omicron variant spreading faster, the

State government has imposed night curfew from 10.00 p.m to 5.00 a.m.

from January six and announcing complete Sunday lockdown tomorrow, while

allowing essential services to function, candidates attending competitive exams

and those travelling by air and train.(UNI)
