Mumbai, Jan 5 : The Rupee on Wednesday recovered 19 paise to close at 74.36 against the Dollar on selling of US Dollars by bankers and importers, dealers at the Foreign Exchange said.

Sliding 29 paise on Tuesday, the local unit improved eight paise at 74.47 in early trade. During the it added further gains of 19 paise to finish at 74.36 as compared to its last close.

The Rupee unit registered days high and low at 74.30 and 74.50 respectively against the US Dollar, dealer added.(UNI)
