Nashik, Jan 4 :Nashik recorded 322 new cases of COVID-19 during the past 24 hours while one patient died of the virus, stated an official health bulletin Today.
With the new additions, the total caseload surged to 4,14,755 and the death toll climbed to 8,759.
While, 109 people were recovered and discharged today, taking the count of cured cases to 4,04,953.
Presently, Nashik has 1,043 active cases, bulletin added.
In the past four days, the number of new infections has been multiplying quickly, as more than 100 new cases were recorded before this week’s start.
On Monday, the figure jumped beyond 200 and today it crossed the 300-mark, which strongly points towards COVID surge.(UNI)
