Panaji, Jan 2 : The Congress will organize an interactive program with NGOs at Mapusa in North Goa on January 4, 2022.

The program would be attended by former union ministers P Chidambaram and Jairam Ramesh.

“Taking into account the issues that have been highlighted by cross section of the society ranging from environment to unemployment and health, women’s issues to law and order, the party’s Goa incharge P Chidambaram had expressed his desire to interact with various NGOs, social organisations, concerned individuals, including taxi drivers association etc to understand first hand the issues affecting the people of Goa and finding a solution,” a party statement said.

He would be accompanied by Jairam Ramesh, former Environment Minister.

“A large no of NGOs and organisations have registered their names for participating in the face to face program. Many issues raised by the participants will lead to making of the blue print for a new, safe, secure and environment friendly Goa,” the statement said.(UNI)
