Panaji, Dec 15:Goa has recorded 52 new cases of Covid-19 and no death during the past 24 hours, the health department said Today.
According to the daily bulletin issued by the Directorate of Health Services (DHS), with the addition of these new cases, the cumulative number of infections in the state rose to 1,79,565 while the death toll remained at 3,482.
A total of 51 more recoveries were also reported during the past 24 hours, taking the number of recovered cases in the state to 1,75,692.
Recovery rate in the state currently stands at 97.84 per cent.
On Wednesday, 51 patients were advised home isolation, one was admitted to hospitals while one was discharged.
During the same period, as many as 3615 new samples were tested, taking the number of tests conducted in the state so far to 15, 86,130.
Currently, the state houses 391 active COVID-19 cases.(UNI)
