Thiruvananthapuram, Dec 14 : For the first time in the country, Kerala Revenue Department will link Aadhaar and land revenue details with Unique Thandaper Number (UTN) after it is implemented to streamline land documents, helping authorities identify the total land in possession of a person.
A notification in this regard was issued by the state government following its approval from the Union Science and Technology Department on August 23 this year, a release here on Tuesday said.
The 13-digit Unique Thandaper (the revenue record of a property) Number will be issued to land owners.
This Aadhaar-based unique revenue record of property will also help authorities in revenue recovery, settling property disputes and investigations.(UNI)
