Thiruvananthapuram, Nov 22 : Kerala reported 3,698 fresh COVID cases and 75 deaths Today  showing no respite from rising number of COVID cases in the State.
About 7,515 people have recovered from the disease today, a press release from the health department said this evening.
“Meanwhile, 75 recent deaths were confirmed due to COVID today. About 105 deaths were also added to the list based on appeals seeking its inclusion in the list taking the death toll in the state to 37,675,” the release added.
About 45,190 samples were tested during the last 24 hours. Currently, 1,88,979 people are under observation in the State –1,83,929 are at their homes or institutional quarantine centres and 5,050 in hospitals.
Total 333 people have admitted to hospitals in the State in the past 24 hours. Weekly Infection Population Ratio (WIPR) is above 10 per cent at 46 wards where strict restriction is being imposed.(UNI)
