Hyderabad, Nov 22 : Customs officials at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA), Shamshabad here on Monday seized gold and foreign currency worth about Rs 29 lakhs from three air passengers.

The officials seized UAE and USD foreign currency worth Rs 11.49 lakhs (in Indian currency) from two women passengers and gold worth Rs 17.69 lakhs from another woman passenger, Customs officials sources said.

Cases were registered accordingly and an investigation is under way, the sources added.(UNI)
