Thiruvananthapuram, Nov 10 : Kerala reported 7,540 fresh COVID positive cases and 48 deaths Today showing no respite from rising number of COVID cases in the State.
About 7,841 people have also recovered from the disease today, a press release from the health department said this evening.
“Meanwhile, 48 recent deaths were confirmed due to COVID today. About 211 deaths were also added to the list based on appeals seeking its inclusion in the list, taking the death toll in the state to 34,621,” the release added.
About 76,380 samples were tested during the last 24 hours. Currently, 2,21,733 people are under observation in the state — 2,16,046 are at their homes or institutional quarantine centres and 5,687 in hospitals.

Total 400 people were admitted to the hospital with virus Infection today. Weekly Infection Population Ratio (WIPR) is above 10 at 46 wards where strict restriction is being imposed.(UNI)
