Thiruvananthapuram, Oct 29 : Kerala reported 7,722 fresh COVID positive cases and 86 deaths Today.
About 6,648 people have recovered from the disease today, a press release from the health department said this evening.
“Meanwhile, 86 recent deaths were confirmed due to COVID today. Another 276 deaths having no proper records were added to the COVID death list based on the Centre’s guidelines. About 109 deaths were also added to the list based on appeal seeking its inclusion in the list taking the death toll in the state to 31,156” the release added.
About 71,681 samples were tested during the last 24 hours. Currently 2,69,451 people are under observation in the state – 2,61,842 are at their homes or institutional quarantine centres and 7,609 in hospitals.
In hospitals, 514 people were admitted with virus Infection today. Weekly Infection Population Ratio (WIPR) is above 10 at 211 wards where strict restriction is being imposed.(UNI)
